What we look for
These pages have links to other pages on the site whose whole text is a generic phrase, such as 'read more', 'learn more', 'here' or 'more'.
Why it matters
Generic words tell searchers and search engines nothing about the page a link leads to, and people using screen readers, who often scan a list of links, hear the same phrase again and again.
How to fix
Rewrite each link's text in the CMS or page template to name where it leads, for example 'Read our pricing guide' instead of 'read more'.
Where you’ll see it
The id is stable, and every surface uses it, so it’s the thing to search for or hand to an agent.
