What we look for
Some images on these pages have alt text (a short written description of an image) longer than 100 characters.
Why it matters
Screen readers read alt text out in full, so a long one slows people down, and a description stuffed with keywords can look like spam to search engines.
How to fix
Cut each long description to a short phrase that says what the image shows, in the CMS media library or page template. Put longer explanations in a caption or the page text.
Where you’ll see it
The id is stable, and every surface uses it, so it’s the thing to search for or hand to an agent.
